Effingham County Board Education in partnership with Optim Health Sports Medicine provides quality health care to the students of South Effingham High School. The sports medicine staff strives to protect and return the injured student athlete to sport participation as quickly and safely as possible. The athletic training staff possesses knowledge in injury prevention; injury recognition, evaluation, and assessment; immediate care; and the treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of athletic injuries.  The staff maintains current in knowledge and skills through participation in regular in-services and attendance at educational conferences annually.
